Karratha Step Up / Step Down Service
Karratha Step Up/Step Down Service
The Karratha Step Up/Step Down Service is key to addressing the need for more flexible, residential-style community-based mental health services in the Pilbara region.
Step Up/Step Down services provide short-term, residential support and individualised care for people following discharge from hospital, or for people in the community experiencing a change in their mental health, to avoid hospitalisation.
The Karratha Step Up/Step Down Service will be a 6-bed service located on Gregory Way, Bulgarra.
Richmond Wellbeing is the appointed service provider, and will offer psychosocial support services, in partnership with Hope Community Services. The WA Country Health Service will provide the clinical services.
For the latest information about the Service, please see the News and Media webpage or subscribe to the Stakeholder Connect E-Newsletter.
