South Hedland Step Up/Step Down Service

The South Hedland Step Up/Step Down Service is key to addressing the need for more flexible, residential-style community-based mental health services in the Pilbara region.

Step Up/Step Down services provide short-term, residential support and individualised care for people following discharge from hospital, or for people in the community experiencing a change in their mental health, to avoid hospitalisation.

The South Hedland Step Up/Step Down Service will be a 10-bed service located on Hamilton Road, South Hedland.
