Emerging Directions: The crucial Issues for Change
The Ministerial Taskforce into Public Mental Health Services for Infants, Children and Adolescents aged 0-18 years in Western Australia (ICA Taskforce) is developing a whole of system plan for State Government funded specialist infant, child and adolescent mental health services delivered by WA Health Service Providers.
On behalf of the ICA Taskforce, the Mental Health Commission has released the paper, Emerging Directions: The Crucial Issues for Change.
The ICA Taskforce wishes to acknowledge the contribution of members of the Lived Experience, Clinical and Interagency Expert Working Groups.

Emerging Directions: The Crucial Issues for Change provided key stakeholders in this critical discussion the opportunity to provide feedback on what the Taskforce has learned so far, and its evolving vision for the future of mental health care for children aged 0 to 18 in WA – including the scale of change required to achieve it.
