Development of Outcomes Measurement Framework

Published on 19 Sep 2024

We are developing a person-centred Outcomes Measurement Framework (OMF), which will be used to support the monitoring and evaluation of publicly funded and commissioned mental health and alcohol and other drug services, and their impact on consumers and carers in Western Australia.

The OMF will be developed through a Delphi Expert Consensus study and people with experience in the fields of mental health and/or alcohol and other drug service delivery (as either a stakeholder or through lived or living experience) are encouraged to participate.

This will involve taking part in two rounds of surveys delivered about four weeks apart. The surveys will ask participants to rate a set of 15 domains, and their related outcomes, on how important they are for inclusion in the OMF. Domains and outcomes that achieve consensus on their importance for inclusion will form the content of the OMF.
