Expression of Interest: Travel bursaries for Lived Experience of Suicide Summit 2023
The Mental Health Commission (Commission) recognises the valuable contribution that consumers, family, significant others and community members make to the planning, implementation, delivery and evaluation of mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drug programs and services in WA.
The Commission is providing two travel bursaries, valued at approximately $3,500 per participant, to support people with a Lived Experience of suicide to attend the Roses in the Ocean Lived Experience of Suicide Summit in Hobart, Tasmania on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 March 2023.
This important event on the suicide prevention calendar offers an interactive workshop-style forum that connects people with a Lived Experience of suicide with key sector organisations, researchers, clinicians, government departments and non-government organisations. It provides a platform for multi-levelled collaboration to explore innovative solutions and bring about change.
