Support boost for people experiencing FDV

Published on 6 Aug 2024

We have provided funding of more than $780,000 to Holyoake to continue its ‘Response. Intervention. Support. Empower’ (RISE) program in 2024-25, supporting people impacted by family and domestic violence (FDV).

The RISE program, which is delivered by Holyoake in partnership with WA Police, aims to address alcohol and other drug issues that impact FDV.

This funding follows a successful trial of the program, which provided direct targeted and ongoing support to families impacted by FDV.

The program has delivered other positive outcomes, such as increased feelings of safety in the community and increased awareness of support services.
